Gelato has proven itself time and time again as one of the most unique strains one can taste. It has a flavor all of its own that is delicious and unique and yet ever since Growers introduced the strain a few years back they have been trying to change the strain because by all accounts pure Gelato is not pretty refer. Darker buds that get kind of spindly and do not get dense. That is where this strain comes in. They crossed Sunset Sherbert and Girl Scout Cookies to make Gelato. They used several things to cross to get this strain. Why is it names Lemon Cherry Gelato ? Dunno. Because it has no Lemon Strain. no Cherry Strain and no Gelato strain in it to make the Lemon Cherry Gelato strain. How someone has attached these names to this strain is a mystery and it should be brought to light that if you are a fan of Gelato strain you might not even recognize this as in that family when you smoke it. Lemon Cherry Gelato has NOTHING in common with Gelato grass. It does not smoke the same, Does not buzz the same and it's not near the same flavor at tall . That being said it is a good stand alone strain that should be named something else. Naming a strain after one of the most popular strains of the 2020's is a money grab. They are trying to piggyback success off the original strain Gelato by naming their strain similarly and nothing more.

This strain is very good on its own as long as you do not go into it thinking you are getting your Gelato. As a stand alone LCG is good enough to not feed off other strains and should have its own following . It has a light smoke that is easy to inhale and low expansion. So you won't cough a lot with this one. The taste is not very fruity but has subtle notes of citrus and sweet candy and finishes with a barky flavor . Smoke comes out smelling mild and slightly fruity with a dank sour smell that fills the room. The smoke is very light and you won't even notice you have smoked a bowl when it's over in your lungs . There will be next to no pain inhaling this strain so it's a great pick for elderly people who are looking for medicine to help with issues ..

The truth is on this strain as long as you are not going into this believing this to taste like the Gelato strain you will enjoy it. Smoke it fast however as it just does not keep well and is losing its smell and taste rapidly as it gets more and more dried . It is enjoyable but in my opinion if you are craving Gelato just buy Gelato and put up with slightly ugly buds that comes with that strain.
